Loved the house. Missed it this year. We make an annual vacation to OBX during Christmas week but it wasn't available this year. All the furniture and appliances were top notch. Loved the fireplace. Really enjoyed our time at Sound Racer. Let us know if you ever decide to rent it at the holidays again cause we're there!
Favorite Family Activites: A week long puzzle kept us all busy.
Favorite Places to Visit or Eat: Loved cooking in the awsome kitchen. Ate in all week. Didn't help that OBX got sleet that year. Made the firplace even more cozy.

Wonderful house--so homey and had everything we ever wanted. We cooked in except for 1 meal and it was a joy. Had my husband, son and his wife with a 2 and 4 year old plus my daughter and her husband with a 1 year old. We had summer weather in September and stayed in the pool and hot tub most of the week.Made milkshakes at the tiki bar at night and it was beautiful. Thanks for the welcome gift--such a nice surprise. We will definitely be back next year. Best house we have ever stayed in at the Outer Banks in 8 years of staying at several each year. Thanks so much,Ann
Favorite Family Activites: Pool, Ping Pong, Hot tub, tv's with DVD for little ones
Favorite Places to Visit or Eat: Philly Cheese Steak at Corola Plaza was awesome
Sunset Grill at Duck was wonderful-great variety

We arrived here on Sunday and will be staying for 2 weeks. How lucky we are. This is our 3rd time staying in this community and we had yet to find "our" house until now. House is the perfect family vacation spot. Our party only has 5 guests but we can invision it filled with a lot more people. The house is so well organized, the view is amazing, furnishings are tasteful and the beds are comfortable. This high maintenance Mom of 3 is happy!
Pine Island Beach is a serious upgrade from the Currituck Beach. No crowds and easier trek from the car. Pool is huge and kids had fun (the only people there yesterday at 1:00) Kids crafts today too.
Favorite Family Activites: Bike Rides (there are no sidewalks where we live)
Boogie Boarding
Hours in the Pool (thanks for all the pool toys)
Shell Collecting
Favorite Places to Visit or Eat: Blue Point in Duck. Great views and great food (leave the kids home with grandma!)

Beautiful place, even nicer than the pictures show. Lots of stuff to keep the kids and adults happy. Pine Island Beach Club membership is a fantastic perk. Pool area with tiki bar and grill is the perfect place to enjoy some fresh seafood and cold beverages. Looking forward to staying again next year.

We are looking forward to staying at SoundRacer for our upcoming vacation. The online pics look great, and the kids can't wait to get out of school. Hopefully the weather will cooperate, and provide enough sun to heat up the pool!
We're not sure if the house has been rented the week prior to our arrival, but if not, we will be the first ones in. We'll let everyone know how the week turns out.
Favorite Family Activites: Our family has made the OBX our vacation spot for decades, and there's not much we haven't tried. The kids love the go-karts in Corolla, and my son and I will definitely hit the golf course. Who knows? Maybe some parasailing or wave-running this time. Kids are getting to the age where they can do more fun stuff.
Favorite Places to Visit or Eat: We've probably tried most places on the island to eat, but we always meet-up at the Tomato Patch when we arrive, mostly due to the close proximity. Cant' go wrong at the Blue Point in Duck, and Route 12, while expensive, serves a pretty good meal.
